Sweet Reunions

It's seven fifteen in the evening and there's a chill in the air. The promise of good alcohol energizes her, pushes her off the couch and into the shower. While the water warms up she ties her thick blonde hair into a knot at the top of her head and picks out a simple outfit. They're not going anywhere fancy, but she still wants to portray a nice, clean image in her dark green tunic.
She takes a shower, scrubs herself clean, and brushes out any tangles from her hair. She squeezes into a pair of skinny jeans and throws on the top to look casual, but dresses it up with some big earrings and a little bit of make-up. She's a simple girl.
It's five past eight and there's a chill in the air. She regrets not having worn something with full sleeves, but her top is warm enough for the time. She's locking the door when her phone rings. It's her best friend. They're close, as close as a guy and a girl can get without any feelings getting in the way, but that's mostly because he's happily married. Although, she's had sex with him once.
'One Time!' she reasons to herself every now and then.
She picks up.
"Hey, what time ya gettin' here?" He has an odd accent. She finds it out of place in New York.
"I'm just walking to the subway. Where are you?"
She thinks if he's still at home she could just catch a cab and go with him. But he tells her he's already left.
"No, you should carry on. I'll come with those guys."
"Are you sure?"
"Yea... I'll meet them at the station."
"You okay? Sounding a little on edge..."
"I couldn't take a proper shit... don't ask!"
There's nothing wrong with her. She's not an over-the-top sex-crazed sort of person. She doesn't have boundary issues. She just likes to do things differently at times. And he gets that.
"Hah! I knew it.."
They say goodbye and she takes out her metro card. It's the only reason she prefers the subway over taking a cab. Her company pays for the card.

The station's pretty empty. Not more than fifteen people in sight.
The train comes.
She gets in. Most of them don't.
The train's only going halfway. But lucky as she is she doesn't need to go that far either. Just four stops.
There are only four people in the compartment, including her.
A middle aged man, not very tall, not very well built. He comes up to her to ask if the train's gonna go all the way. She says no. She's polite and not curtly straightforward in her reply.
They sit on opposite sides, facing each other.
She catches him staring at her chest.
It's uncomfortable.
A chill spreads through her. She knows not to let it show.
A mask comes on. If she were to see herself, she wouldn't know who that woman was.
The man starts stroking his stiffness. She can see it through his jeans.
She realizes it's been a while since she's had sex. More than a month. She hopes no one would judge her. It's a basic human need after all. People might not understand. But she does.
Her mind is fragile. She is wise enough to know she can't help it all the time.
He stares at her like a panther. Dark blonde hair. Scruffy beard. Blue eyes. He continues to stroke the crotch of his jeans.
She does it too.
They look at each other and continue.
He stands up. She follows him.
Her stop is getting closer. He asks her if she's getting down at the next stop.
He gets up too.
They get out onto the platform. He walks away.

She follows him. He asks her if she wants to suck him.
She says yes.
They get out of the station and go into the parking lot across the road. The backside is completely dark and secluded.
He presses her against the wall and they make out.
He leaves her there. Tells her to wait.
Comes back with a pair of keys. They go into a car, a silver Mercedes, and do their business. He's rented it from some guy.
Just as he is finishing, she starts blacking out. It's a familiar feeling. She knows what's going to happen next.
He leaves her.
The guy who owns the car comes. He's surprised she's still there. He checks to see if she's breathing. He knows the kind of sick freaks out there.
He's a college freshman. A sports jock. And he's horny.
She wakes up in a cubicle. Panic sets in. She has no memory of what happened after she got on the train.
She's in the women's bathroom. She's arrived at the correct station. Her purse still has all her money, credit cards and her phone. It's ringing.
She answers it.
Her friends are waiting for her at the station.
She tells them she's in the loo and will be 'out in a sec'.
Her face distorts in anguish as a silent painful cry escapes her lips. She pulls herself together. Her make-up can't be sploshy. She's going out tonight.
It's nine p.m. at the subway station and there's a chill in the air.
She gets into the car. Apologizes to her friend. Her brother looks at her weirdly. Maybe because he's a freshman in college.
'No wait that doesn't make sense..' she tells herself.
They drive off in a silver Mercedes.
